The rail racer was built by Lionel back in 1957,this went on to win him a diploma in engineering for his hard work and efforts.

The motorbike and sidecar combination was just one of Lionels rail racers,the others have been sold via ebay,currently the norton is undergoing restoration work to have the worn tin plate revived and to let the little bike shine just as it did back in 57.

The motorbike combination is still fully running,this runs on a E.d Baby engine and Lionel used to race  it himself back in his hay days!

The little combination is now a treasured memory of the good old days and happy memories of it's prime racing years. This has appeared in magazines and publications across the globe and is highly sought after by museums!
